For this assignment, my "uncle Albert" gave me $1800 to "spend" on some camera equipment - In other words, If I had $1800 to spend to a camera and accessories, what would I buy? I had to spend between $1700-1800, and I had to buy:
1x camera
3x Lenses
1x Tripod
1x Reflector surface
1x External Flash
The other items I bought were for the following reasons:
The 64GB SD card: the D7100 can take photograph's in RAW, which take a lot of space, meaning that the 16GB card would very quickly full up. However, the D7100 has 2 card slots, so I can use both cards
The Camera Bag: What point is there having a camera and lenses and a tripod and such if you don't have the means to take it anywhere without a very precarious set-up
The Spare Battery: Because if I go on an overnight hike or suchlike, I don't want to see a great photograph, but my battery is flat so that I cannot take it
The Strap: The strap I bought because, even though the camera comes with a strap, I much prefer how this strap works, and holds the camera
The Remote Control: Because this is such a cool accessory to have... Put the camera on a tripod, overlooking something and take pictures as you please, without touching the camera... perfect for nighttime photography
